5. Cookies and analytics

The lykta.pl website uses cookies necessary for its correct operation. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies — we run no online advertising and pass no data to data brokers.

Essential cookies

These store only your decision about analytics consent. That information is kept locally in your browser and is not sent to our server. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the correct operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Analytics cookies — Google Analytics 4

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are visited and how long visits last. This serves only to assess whether our content is useful and to improve the site.

  • Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, in which Google is a certified participant.
  • Cookies: _ga and _ga_<ID> — stored for up to 2 years, used to distinguish browsers in order to count unique visitors.
  • Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 173 of the Polish Telecommunications Act).
  • Anonymisation: the IP address is truncated before storage. We do not combine analytics data with contact form submissions and make no attempt to identify individuals.
  • Provider's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

How to withdraw consent

Analytics scripts load only after consent is given in the banner. You may withdraw consent at any time via Cookie settings in the site footer — the Google Analytics cookies will then be deleted. Settings can also be changed in your browser configuration, including blocking cookies entirely.

6. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures ensuring protection of the personal data processed, appropriate to the risks and to the categories of data protected, including an encrypted connection (SSL) and access control over correspondence.

7. Changes to this privacy policy

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy. The current version is always available at lykta.pl/en/privacy-policy.html.
